Man marries an 8 year old girl in Kaduna

These photos were shared on Twitter yesterday.It was a wedding ceremony.The guy is named Baba Ahmed on Sunday Jan. 17th, paid the bride price of this 8 year old girl in Zaria, Kaduna. Though reports says she won't be moving to his house until she is 17. The little girl probably has no idea what is happening, she probably thinks it's her birthday....hmmmm

I have always been the type who gets irritated at the sight of any insect not to talk about eating them: whether roasted,cooked,fried or raw I just cant.But during my university days in the eastern part of Nigeria,when I travelled to my village I saw the way everyone both old and young rushed to catch those winged termites during the rainy season using a bright light which attracts the termites and then using brooms or their hands to get them to fall on the floor or inside a basin of water.In my local dialect (Igbo)it is called "Aku","Akebe" or " Nwakebe" Termites are prepared in various ways for eating. 15 yr old boy caught raping a sheep in Enugu

15 year old Miracle Oluebube Nweke, a native of  Eziagu, Enugu state, was caught on Monday, Jan 18  having sex with a Sheep. A friend who caught him in the act raised an alarm leading to his arrest by a vigilante group. Miracle said he knew that it was not normal but that he could not help himself and that anytime he had the urge, a strange voice would lead him to where he would get a sheep which he would loose and drag to an uncompleted building to have sex with it.
